The ProFyre Conventional Heat Detector range offers three models designed for seamless integration with ProFyre C8 and C24 control panels in fire alarm systems. The A2R detector combines rate-of-rise sensing with a 57°C fixed temperature threshold. For fixed temperature monitoring, the A2S model provides a 57°C fixed heat alarm, while the CS detector activates at a higher 90°C, catering to various indoor temperature monitoring needs. All models boast a low-profile, stylish design featuring 360-degree LED indication for clear status, a lockable base to prevent unauthorised removal, and an output for a remote LED.

Crucially, these ProFyre heat detectors are fully LPCB approved, ensuring their safety and reliable operation across the European Union. They also carry the CE mark, confirming compliance with essential directives such as the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). Furthermore, they adhere to the rigorous EN 54-5 standard for point heat detectors.

From a technical perspective, the detectors offer a coverage area of 50m² and operate from 10.50 to 33Vdc. They draw 40µA quiescent current and 35mA in alarm condition. Rated IP43 and designed solely for indoor use, these devices are tested to function reliably in operating conditions ranging from -10°C to +50°C.
