The Crisis Assist Call Weatherproof Mushroom Call Button is an integral component of Eurofyre’s Crisis Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS). These systems are engineered to fully comply with BS5839-9:2011 for use as disabled refuge systems (DRS) and incorporate integrated Emergency Assist Alarm Systems. This specific button is designed to activate a pool alarm and requires a key for its reset, importantly, it should not be used with a cancel plate.

Manufactured in the UK, the call button features a robust, weatherproof IP56 rating, making it suitable for demanding environments. It is supplied within a durable yellow and grey polycarbonate enclosure and is designed for surface mounting. A key feature is its BS8300 acknowledgement capability, ensuring clear communication within the emergency system.

Installation is simplified thanks to its flexible wiring requirements, utilising a standard two-core cable where the wiring order is not fixed, allowing for versatile installation routes. It supports a maximum cable distance of 500 metres when using 1 x 2-core 1.0mm PVC or fire-rated cable, particularly when sharing a line with a Type B Refuge Outstation.

The device meets multiple technical standards, including BS5839-9:2011 and BS8300, alongside EMC and LVD compliance (EN55103-1:2009, EN55103-2:2009, and EN60950-1:2006). Compact and lightweight, it weighs 0.17kg and measures 80mm x 73mm x 79mm, providing a reliable and compliant solution for emergency call activation.
