Description

The VESDA Sensepoint XCL is an in-line gas detection solution designed for seamless integration with new or existing large bore aspirating smoke detection systems. It enhances safety by providing extended coverage and superior detection for a wide range of harmful gases, including flammable gases, oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen dioxide, and ammonia, thus offering combined fire and gas protection.

Installed directly within the aspirating pipe network, the Sensepoint XCL continuously samples air for analysis. Its remote sampling capability allows the detector to be placed outside the immediate detection zone, simplifying access for maintenance. Key features include integral alarm status LEDs, field-replaceable gas sensor cartridges, and versatile output options like 4-20mA analogue or Modbus RTU, both equipped with relays. This enables seamless integration with BMS, fire alarm panels, PLCs, and HVAC systems.

Commissioning, calibration, and maintenance are streamlined using the Sensepoint App, which connects via Bluetooth to a smart device for diagnostics and configuration. Built with a durable polycarbonate casing, the detector boasts an IP65 ingress protection rating and operates reliably across a broad temperature range.

The Sensepoint XCL complies with various approvals, including EN/UL/IEC 61010-1 and UL2075, affirming its reliability and safety standards. Eurofyre, an authorised distributor, provides expert advice and support for this advanced gas detection system.
