The ProFyre Addressable Mains Switching Input/Output Module, available from Eurofyre, is a loop-powered device designed for analogue addressable fire alarm systems. Its core function is to monitor a low voltage input while simultaneously activating a local mains-rated output (up to 230V) when an alarm is triggered. This capability allows for the automatic control of various ancillary equipment, such as managing lift operations during an emergency, starting fire pumps, or shutting down ventilation fans.

Key features include a single mains-rated relay contact and addressing via dip switches. The module incorporates an integral bi-directional short-circuit isolator, ensuring continued operation even if a short circuit occurs on the loop. Visible LED indicators provide clear status, fault, and alarm indications.

The unit is supplied with a low-profile back box, requiring a standard European double back box for surface or semi-flush mounting. Its internal electronics are protected by a cover, and it boasts an IP21 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for indoor use only. The module is fully compatible with ProFyre A4, A2, and T8 2-wire fire alarm systems, operating efficiently within a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Its output relay contacts are rated at 8A for 250Vac/30Vdc.
