Description

The Crisis Assist Ancillary Cancel Plate is a key component of emergency assistance alarm systems, suitable for locations such as public bathrooms and assisted living facilities. Designed to comply with BS5839, it enables an alarm to be reset locally at its point of origin, ensuring that all alerts are investigated and prompt assistance is provided.

Manufactured in the UK, the plate features a Braille-enhanced cancel button for accessibility, available in light grey acrylic or brushed stainless steel. It can be flush or surface mounted between 800mm and 1000mm from the floor and includes a BS8300 acknowledge feature. Unlike the main Crisis Assist Cancel Plate, this ancillary version omits visible alarm indication and a buzzer, leading to reduced power consumption.

Installation is flexible, supporting integration with a Crisis EVC system or standalone use via a Crisis Assist Controller. It utilises standard two-core cable, allowing adaptable wiring up to 500 metres from a controller or panel. Typically, two ancillary plates can be connected to a dedicated Assist Call circuit.

The product adheres to strict standards, including BS5839-9:2011, BS8300, and relevant EMC and LVD directives. Its compact dimensions are 86mm x 86mm x 22mm, with a weight of 0.12kg.
