The Crisis Assist Cancel Plate is a crucial part of emergency assistance alarm systems, designed for disabled or mobility-impaired individuals, often in public bathrooms. It resets activated alarms, complying with BS5839, which mandates local cancellation for thorough investigation and support. Remote indication at a central control point is also necessary for unattended locations.
UK-manufactured, the plate includes an LED indicator and a braille-enhanced ‘cancel’ button for simple manual operation. Available in light grey or brushed stainless steel as a single gang plate, it supports flush or surface mounting, ideally positioned 800-1000mm from the floor.
The Cancel Plate integrates with Eurofyre’s Crisis EVC system or functions standalone via a Crisis Assist Controller. Standard two-core cable allows flexible wiring up to 500 metres from a panel. If connected to a Crisis Master Station, the plate and cabling gain full monitoring and battery backup.
The Crisis Assist system and devices, including the Cancel Plate, comply with BS5839-9:2021 and BS8300-2:2018. They hold full CE and UKCA approvals, confirming health, safety, and environmental protection in the UK and Europe.
