The Crisis Assist Disabled Toilet Alarm Power Supply Unit (PSU) is an integral component of the Crisis Assist emergency assistance alarm system. This system is specifically designed to alert others and summon help in critical situations, proving particularly beneficial for elderly individuals or those with medical conditions who may require immediate assistance in the event of accidents or health emergencies.

The PSU’s primary role is to power other modules within the Crisis Assist network. It features two 500mA fused outputs, each capable of powering two Crisis Assist 4 Line Toilet Alarm Controllers. Both outputs are continuously monitored, with their operational status clearly indicated by LEDs on the unit’s front panel, and any detected faults displayed on connected ACTs.

An optional 12V 0.8Ah battery can be integrated into the PSU, offering crucial backup power. This battery is also under constant surveillance, with its status visible on both the panel and associated ACTs. The unit itself is designed for straightforward installation, presented as a light grey finish double gang plate, and guarantees full compliance with BS8300:2009 standards.

Operating on 230VAC, the PSU requires two-core cabling with a CSA ranging from 0.4mm to 2.5mm. Its compact dimensions are 146mm x 86mm, making it suitable for a 25-35mm deep double gang flush or round corner metal surface box. The Crisis Assist PSU is available for purchase from Eurofyre.
