The Crisis Assist Disabled Toilet Alarm Relay Module is an essential component designed to integrate third-party switches into a Crisis Assist emergency voice communication system. Its primary function is to facilitate the connection of various non-latching or latching switches, such as switch strips or door microswitches, enabling an effective emergency alert mechanism.

Emergency assistance alarms are crucial for individuals who may require immediate help, particularly the elderly or those with medical conditions, in the event of accidents or health emergencies. This module enhances the existing Crisis Assist system by allowing a wider array of devices to trigger an alert.

The module can accommodate up to four external devices, each benefiting from its own identification label and individual LED status indication. This ensures clear visibility and quick identification of the activated alert point within the system.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the unit features a light grey enclosure and is crafted to fit a standard double-gang back box, making installation straightforward and cost-effective. It utilises standard two-core cable, further simplifying the wiring process.

It complies with significant standards including BS5839-9:2011 and BS8300, along with relevant EMC and LVD directives, ensuring its reliability and performance. The module operates with a 2-core 1.0mm PVC or fire-rated cable, supporting a maximum distance of 500 metres.
