The Evacuator Synergy GSM 2 enhances the Evacuator Synergy temporary fire detection system, making it ideal for construction sites and other temporary installations. It integrates a crucial GSM text notification capability, designed to alert key personnel both on and off-site, especially during evenings, weekends, or any period when the site might be unattended.

This unit can store up to five separate contact numbers for fire alerts and an additional five for first aid emergencies, providing extensive coverage. It also transmits notifications for low battery status. All components within the broader Evacuator Synergy range connect wirelessly through a Base Station, which functions as the system’s control panel, ensuring all network sounders activate if any connected device triggers an alarm.

The Evacuator Synergy GSM 2 operates on mains power and is intended for indoor deployment; it requires an uninterruptible power supply to guarantee continuous operation. Its configuration and remote resets are managed entirely via text message using a unique passcode. Additionally, users can request GSM strength and current status reports, which detail stored numbers, site name, and the site manager’s contact. An LED display provides real-time status, connectivity, and signal strength, complemented by a customisable name function.

Operating on a category one radio module, Evacuator Synergy systems comply with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), affirming their safety for critical applications. The GSM 2 device further adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) directives.

Independently tested to ETSI-300-220-1, the European standard for Short Range Devices, the product also bears the CE mark, authorising its sale within the European Union.
