The Fire Beam BLUE Beam Detector is a fire detection system that builds upon the features of the Fire Beam Xtra, distinguished by its mobile app-based commissioning and control. Comprising a Fire Beam Head and a Reflector, the system operates by sending a signal from the head to the reflector, which then bounces it back. An interruption or obscuration of this returning signal registers as a fire event.

Notable for its ease of installation and rapid commissioning, the device features auto-alignment, which completes in just over three minutes, and automatic drift compensation, ensuring continuous accuracy even with building movement. It is EN54-12:2015 approved and designed for reliability with IP65 protection.

The detector offers an operational range from 7 to 70 metres with the standard kit, which includes the head unit, a single reflector, user manual, and an allen key. This range can be extended up to 140 metres by adding an optional range kit, accommodating larger spaces.

Central to the Fire Beam BLUE’s operation is its dedicated mobile app, which connects via Bluetooth. This app serves as the sole interface for installers, enabling quick commissioning, beam alignment, adjustment of parameters like time to fire and fault, and real-time monitoring of beam status and air quality. The system supports seven languages, further enhancing its user-friendliness.
