Description

The Fireray Hub Reflective is an advanced optical beam smoke detection platform from FFE, designed for diverse environments and distributed by Eurofyre. This system utilises infrared technology to create a linear beam, triggering an alarm when smoke particles or other particulates disrupt its intensity. A key feature is its ground-level controller, which centrally manages and monitors up to three detector heads, simplifying installation and ongoing maintenance.

The system incorporates motorised self-alignment, which corrects alignment in under two minutes and maintains optimal positioning despite building movement, alongside light cancellation technology to minimise false alarms. Enhanced detection is achieved through integrated laser technology and automated alignment. Intelligent self-calibration further reduces errors caused by environmental factors like dust and sunlight, while alarm thresholds and delay settings can be easily customised via the user-friendly, backlit LCD controller.

The Fireray Hub Reflective offers extensive coverage, capable of protecting large spaces up to 120 metres with a single beam, providing uniform sensitivity across its entire length. The controller boasts an IP65 rating, ensuring reliability in various weather conditions. Efficient maintenance is supported by an event log, which records numerous events for quick troubleshooting. Detector heads can be situated up to 100 metres from the controller and connected in either parallel or network configurations.

The complete kit includes a controller, detector base, detector head, reflector, and a short-range mask. This reflective beam detection system holds comprehensive approvals, including VdS certification for safe use across EU countries, alongside CE and UKCA marks, confirming compliance with directives such as the Construction Products Regulation. It also meets the requirements of BS EN 54-12:2015 for optical beam smoke detectors.
