The FyreLine Analogue Nylon LHD Cable is a linear heat detection system specifically designed to identify fire risks at the point of origin, particularly in challenging environments where hazardous hydrocarbons like fuel oils, diesel, or kerosene are present. Its robust black nylon outer jacket offers enhanced mechanical protection, superior to PVC, and provides excellent UV resistance, making it suitable for direct sunlight exposure.

This self-restorable analogue system allows for precise heat detection with an optional pre-alarm setting, contributing to its reliability in industrial applications. It is also noted for its cost-effectiveness, requiring low installation, maintenance, and repair expenditures, which makes it a practical solution for hazardous areas.

The cable’s construction features a pair of copper conductors encased in a temperature-sensitive polymer, whose electrical resistance varies with heat. Additionally, it incorporates a calibration resistance core and an average ambient temperature sensor core, all protected by a foil shield and an outer coating, enabling accurate temperature monitoring.

The FyreLine Analogue LHD cables are comprehensively approved, holding UL 521 certification for heat detectors in fire protective signalling systems and complying with the EN54:22 draft standard. They also bear the CE mark, indicating adherence to applicable European Directives, including CPR, EMC, and LVD.

With an overall diameter of 5.50mm, the cable operates within a broad temperature range of -40ºC to 125ºC. It can be installed in continuous lengths up to 500 metres, providing flexibility for diverse system configurations.
