The FyreLine Analogue PVC Linear Heat Detection (LHD) Cable provides a robust fire detection solution, particularly suitable for hazardous environments. Approved to UL 521 and compliant with the EN54:22 draft standard, this self-restorable analogue system includes an optional pre-alarm. Its cable-based sensing ensures detection at the point of risk, offering low installation, maintenance, and repair costs.

The standard PVC coating is appropriate for most settings. However, it is not recommended for prolonged direct exposure to UV radiation, hazardous chemicals such as hydrocarbons, or areas subject to regular mechanical abrasion. For these specific conditions, alternative sheathing materials are available to guarantee suitable performance.

Constructed with a pair of copper conductors, the cable features a temperature-sensitive polymer coating that changes resistance with temperature. It also includes a calibration resistance core and an average ambient temperature sensor core, twisted together. These are protected by a foil shield and an outer PVC coat, which also provides RFI shielding.

Key technical specifications include an overall diameter of 4.57mm and an operating temperature range from -40ºC to 125ºC, with a continuous ambient range of -40ºC to 90ºC. It supports humidity from 0% to 99% RH and is available in lengths up to 500m. The cable holds the CE mark, confirming its compliance with directives like CPR, EMC, and LVD.
