The FyreLine Digital High Temperature Linear Heat Detection (LHD) Cable is a UL 521 approved system engineered for dependable fire detection in demanding environments. It provides precise detection at the point of risk, offering low installation, maintenance, and repair costs, establishing it as an economical choice for both hazardous and safe areas.

This cable is specifically designed for high-temperature locations and environments containing chemicals such as hydrocarbon fuel oils, diesel, and kerosene. Its construction features a chemical-resistant nylon outer sheath and incorporates two twisted, tensioned tri-metallic conductors, each coated in a heat-sensitive polymer.

Upon reaching its rated alarm temperature, the polymer coating melts, causing the conductors to touch and create a short circuit. This immediately transmits a signal to the fire alarm control panel, indicating a fire or excessive heat incident. A key advantage is the straightforward replacement of any damaged section of the cable post-detection.

The FyreLine digital LHD cables boast comprehensive approvals, including UL listing (specifically UL 521 for heat detectors) and the CE mark, confirming compliance with critical directives such as CPR, EMC, and LVD.

Technically, the cable has an overall diameter of 3.60mm and can accommodate a maximum zone length of 3,000 metres. It is offered in various lengths, including 100m, 200m, and 500m, with an alarm temperature set at 185°C.
