The FyreLine EN54 Fixed LSZH Linear Heat Detection Cable is a non-resettable, line-type heat detector employing fixed temperature detection to sense temperature changes. It is well-suited for identifying hidden fire risks in diverse environments, including tunnels, cable trays, warehousing, and escalators.

Offered in 78°C or 88°C alarm temperatures, the cable features a robust protective outer coating. This coating is UV stable, hydrocarbon and oil resistant, flame retardant, and possesses low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) properties, making it highly versatile for critical safety applications.

Internally, the cable comprises two twisted cores separated by a specialised temperature-sensitive polymer. When its rated temperature is reached, this polymer softens, allowing the cores to contact and activate. This irreversible process necessitates replacement of any triggered cable section.

Approved to EN54-28:2016, the European Standard for non-resettable line-type heat detectors, the FyreLine EN54 cable must be used as a complete system with its dedicated controller and End-of-Line unit for full compliance. All components are CE marked, indicating adherence to EU directives and performance standards.
