The FyreLine EN54 Fixed LSZH SS Braided Cable is a linear heat detection solution specifically designed to form an EN54 approved fire detection system. Offering fixed sensitivity along its entire length, this cable is suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, available with temperature ratings of either 78°C or 88°C for versatile heat detection.

The cable’s robust construction features a protective outer coating that is UV stable, hydrocarbon resistant, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH), oil resistant, and flame retardant. Crucially, the addition of a stainless steel braided outer sheath provides enhanced protection against mechanical abrasion and accidental damage, making it ideal for demanding environments where the cable may be exposed to physical impact.

Approved to EN 54-28:2016 in conjunction with its associated controller and end-of-line components, the FyreLine cable operates through two twisted cores separated by an advanced temperature-sensitive polymer. When this polymer reaches its rated temperature, it softens, allowing the cores to come into contact and trigger an alarm. This activation is an irreversible process, necessitating the replacement of the activated cable section.

Supplied by Eurofyre, a specialist in fire detection products, this CE marked and RoHS compliant cable can achieve a maximum zone length of 1,000 metres when used with the appropriate controller.
