The Haes Fire Alarm Mains Isolator Switch, available from Eurofyre, is a single-gang key switch designed for the safe and controlled isolation of mains power to fire alarm systems. Adhering to the stringent safety standards of BS5839, this unit is crucial for ensuring protection during maintenance activities or emergency scenarios. By completely severing power to the system once its key is removed, it significantly minimises the risk of electrical hazards for personnel.

Key features include double pole isolation, housed within a fire retardant ABS enclosure. It also incorporates a visual power indicator and robust fuse protection. Designed for easy installation, the unit can be fitted using either the supplied back box or a standard 15mm box, with provisions for cable management through pre-drilled holes and BESA box fixings. A crucial safety note advises removing the lid prior to drilling to prevent any potential damage to the internal circuitry.
