Description

The InfraSensing Ammonium Gas Sensor, offered by Eurofyre, is a digital, plug-and-play device designed for continuous, indoor monitoring of ammonia (NH₃) concentrations. This sensor is a component of Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) that safeguards against environmental risks, preventing equipment failures, data loss, and regulatory breaches by monitoring critical parameters.

This device accurately measures NH₃ levels up to 100 parts per million (ppm), with a resolution of 1ppm. The sensor features a robust steel enclosure and offers versatile mounting options, including rack, DIN rail, magnetic, or wall installations for easy integration.

The sensor connects to the SensorGateway (BASE-5) via a CAT6 or higher RJ45 cable and is powered through the base unit using Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 12V DC, with optional 24V or 48V inputs. It has a lifespan of approximately one year under normal conditions and requires a 10-minute warm-up time.

The sensor has a response time of less than 90 seconds and a calibration frequency of up to one year. It operates effectively between -10°C to +60°C and within a humidity range of 0-95% rH (non-condensing). It is particularly useful in data centres, where monitoring NH₃ is essential to prevent corrosion and maintain system longevity and requires the BASE-FW-SSLS firmware add on for the Base Unit.
