Description

The InfraSensing Chlorine Gas Sensor, offered by Eurofyre, is designed for environmental monitoring systems to safeguard assets by detecting chlorine gas levels in ambient air. It operates within a measurement range of 0-200 ppm, providing accurate data for assessing chlorine concentrations in diverse settings. The sensor boasts a rapid response time of under 30 seconds and a lifespan of up to two years.

This sensor is housed in a robust steel enclosure and integrates seamlessly with BASE-XX Base Units when equipped with BASE-FW-SSLS firmware. Its applications span across industrial facilities, laboratories, and emergency response situations. The device aims to mitigate risks, improve safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards through effective chlorine gas monitoring.

Technically, the sensor features electrochemical detection technology, drawing power and communicating via an RJ45 cable connected to the Base Unit. It is recommended to use CAT 6/7 cables with screw terminal blocks for connectivity. The sensor operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C and humidity levels of 15-90% rH (non-condensing).

Installation options include 0U rack, DIN rail, magnetic, or wall mounting. The sensor’s dimensions are 71.1mm x 28.8mm x 68.8mm, and it weighs 193g.
