The InfraSensing Vibration & Shock Sensor, offered by Eurofyre, is engineered for the precise monitoring and detection of vibrations and shock events. Designed with a rapid response time of under 30 seconds, this sensor is powered by a base unit and boasts a lifespan of two years. Its robust design ensures easy integration into various environments.

Primarily intended to safeguard critical infrastructure, the sensor identifies unusual movement or impacts, enabling prompt alerts and preventive measures. It is particularly suited for server rooms, data centres, and industrial environments where monitoring vibration is crucial for equipment integrity and operational stability.

Technically, the vibration unit has a ±2g range and a sensor sensitivity of 0.18g. Connectivity is facilitated via an RJ45 cable for both data transmission and power from the base unit. The sensor operates within a temperature range of 0ºC to +75ºC and humidity levels below 90% rH (non-condensing). It is housed in a steel enclosure and offers multiple mounting options, including 0U rack, DIN rail, magnetic, or wall mounting.

Additional features include low power usage (72mW) and compact dimensions of 73 x 68 x 22.23mm, weighing just 40g.
