The Oggioni DUST-AD gas detectors, available from Eurofyre, are advanced devices used for the atmospheric monitoring of toxic and explosive gases, as well as oxygen levels. These detectors utilise microprocessor technology, ensuring rapid and dependable detection, and are designed for easy integration with existing safety systems.

A key feature of the DUST-AD detectors is the RS-485 MODBUS RTU interface, which facilitates remote management and diagnostic capabilities. The units are encased in robust, IP65-rated aluminium or stainless steel enclosures, making them suitable for deployment in harsh industrial environments. Real-time gas levels are indicated by LEDs located on the front of the enclosure.

These detectors are pre-calibrated, significantly reducing set-up time, and are certified for use in ATEX Zone 2 areas, adhering to SIL 2 standards, making them suitable for safety-critical and highly regulated environments. The incorporated eNose®4.0 technology is designed to guarantee reliability and user-friendliness, promising accurate detection while minimising the occurrence of false alarms. Furthermore, the transducer technology ensures that sensor performance is not affected by humidity.

Technological specifications include a 24 Vdc power supply, 4-20mA analogue output, and compatibility with various sensor types, including catalytic, electrochemical, NDIR, and PID. Eurofyre offers various DUST-AD models tailored for specific gases like methane and carbon monoxide, as well as for oxygen deficiency monitoring. Additional gases can be monitored upon request.
