The ProFyre A2 Addressable Fire Alarm Panel, though now discontinued by Eurofyre, was a compact and user-friendly system. It featured 1 or 2 loops, supporting 64, 126, or 252 addresses across up to eight user-definable zones. Designed for straightforward installation, it enabled plug-and-play commissioning without an external PC, utilising an integrated Qwerty keypad for device labelling and automatic allocation. Mounting options included surface, semi-flush, or flush.
A key function was its alarm verification, designed to reduce unwanted alarms by allowing a local alert before a full evacuation. If the alarm condition cleared during this period, the system automatically reset without manual intervention.
The panel seamlessly integrated with ProFyre addressable field devices and offered Wi-Fyre compatibility. This allowed wireless detectors, call points, and sounders to be added via loop-powered transponders, eliminating the need for additional power supplies and wiring.
Fully approved by Intertek and CE marked, the ProFyre A2 complied with European Union directives (CPR, EMC, LVD) and EN54-2 and EN54-4 standards.
