Description

The ProFyre range offers addressable heat detectors designed for fire detection systems, available in three distinct types. The ProFyre A1R functions as both a rate of rise and fixed temperature (57°C) detector. Two fixed temperature models are also offered: the A2S, which activates at 57°C, and the CS, designed to trigger an alarm at 90°C. All detectors in the range utilise thermistor arrangements to accurately sense temperature changes and specific thresholds.

These detectors feature a low-profile, stylish design complemented by 360-degree LED indication, ensuring clear status visibility from any angle. Practical features include the ability to lock them to their bases to prevent unauthorised removal and a remote LED output. Addressing can be configured either via convenient dip switches or a dedicated hand-held programmer, providing installation flexibility.

The ProFyre addressable heat detectors are engineered for seamless integration with ProFyre A4 and A2 addressable control panels, as well as the ProFyre T8 2-wire system. For situations requiring enhanced audibility, all devices within the ProFyre range are compatible with a sandwich sounder, negating the need for separate sounder bases.

Ensuring safety and reliability, these detectors are fully LPCB approved for safe use and installation across European Union countries. They also bear the CE mark, confirming compliance with applicable directives including the CPR, EMC, and Low Voltage Directives. Furthermore, the detectors meet the stringent requirements of EN 54-5:2000 + A1:2002 for fire detection and alarm systems.
