Description

The ProFyre Addressable Optical & Heat Detector is a combined fire detection device, integrating features from both optical smoke and heat detectors. Designed with a low profile and stylish moulding, it offers 360-degree LED indication for clear status display. Key features include the ability to be locked to its base to prevent unauthorised removal and a remote LED output. Addressing can be configured using dip switches or a hand-held programmer.

This detector is fully compatible with ProFyre A4, A2 addressable control panels and the ProFyre T8 2-wire system. It can also be coupled with a sandwich sounder, removing the necessity for a separate sounder base if audibility is a concern.

The device holds comprehensive approvals, including LPCB certification for safe use and installation throughout the European Union, and bears the CE mark indicating compliance with directives such as CPR, EMC, and LVD. It meets EN 54-5 for heat detectors and EN 54-7 for point smoke detectors. Technical specifications highlight a 100m² coverage, an operating voltage range of 10.50 to 33Vdc, and an IP43 rating for indoor use, with an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C.
