The ProFyre Addressable Sandwich Sounder is a loop-powered platform sounder designed to enhance audibility within fire alarm systems. Controlled by the fire alarm panel, it delivers a maximum output of up to 100dB(A) through various alarm tones.
Its innovative design allows direct placement between any ProFyre detector base and an addressable ProFyre detector. This eliminates separate sounder bases, reducing installation complexity and cost, as each detector can integrate a sounder. Features include common sounder grouping, individual activation via detectors, a remote LED output, and low current consumption, with addressing configured by a hand-held programmer.
Compatible with ProFyre A4, A2, and T8 control panels, the sounder offers a range of tones, including multiple BS Fire patterns and various international emergency signals.
It operates between 17-28Vdc, consuming 650μA quiescent and 5.5mA alarm current. Rated IP21C for indoor use, it functions from -10°C to +55°C.
The ProFyre Analogue Addressable Sandwich Sounder is fully LPCB approved and CE marked. This confirms its compliance with European Union directives such as CPR, EMC, and LVD, and adherence to EN54-3 standards.
