The ProFyre Conventional Fire Alarm Bell, a product once integral to fire warning systems, has been discontinued, with Eurofyre advising customers to contact them for alternative electronic conventional sounders. This bell was primarily designed to emit a loud and clear audible alarm, ensuring that individuals are effectively alerted to impending danger.

Key features of the ProFyre bell included a very high volume output, crucial for its warning function. Constructed from durable aluminium, it was specifically intended for indoor installations. Its slim profile allowed for quick and easy fitting, while its extremely low power consumption of just 11mA made it an efficient choice.

The product held LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) approval, signifying that it met the rigorous criteria set out in their Loss Prevention Standards (LPS). This certification confirmed its effective performance within fire and security applications, adhering to established safety and quality benchmarks.

Technically, the bells operated within a voltage range of 20.4 – 27.6Vdc, with a starting voltage of 19.2Vdc, and produced a sound output of 96.5dB(A) at 1 metre. Measuring 152 x 152 x 55mm and weighing 410g, the 6-inch, 24Vdc model (part number 12-080) is no longer available for purchase.
