The Raptor Addressable Sounder, offered by Eurofyre, is a large, weatherproof horn sounder suitable for both indoor and outdoor fire alarm applications. These robust units are housed in a UL V0 flame retardant ABS enclosure, boast an IP65 rating for environmental resistance, and are available in either red or white. Users can select from 16 different tones to meet specific alerting requirements.
Capable of producing a substantial sound output of 96.9dB +/- 3dB at 1 metre (specifically for Tone 0), the Raptor sounder ensures effective audible notification. It is designed for surface mounting only, featuring three 20mm cable entries—two at the top and one at the bottom—to facilitate a tidy installation with field wiring terminating directly to the backbox. The sounder fully complies with EN54 Part 3 Type B standards.
Technically, the Raptor operates within a voltage range of 17-28Vdc, with a quiescent current of 1.5mA and an alarm current of 5.4mA. It is built to perform reliably across a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to 70°C. With dimensions of 150mm (W) x 146mm (H) x 98mm (D) and a weight of 0.54kg, it provides a compact yet durable solution.
