The 10mm Capillary Pipe is a vital component for aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems, specifically designed to create discrete sampling points. Constructed from durable nylon, this pipe offers excellent chemical resistance and a subtle appearance, ensuring suitability for various installation environments. It is engineered for compatibility with leading ASD systems, including VESDA, VESDA-E, ICAM, FAAST, Airsense, and Securiton, highlighting its versatility.

For effective operation, installation guidelines stipulate a maximum recommended length of 8 metres per drop. Crucially, all capillary pipes within a system must be of equal length to prevent airflow inconsistencies that could compromise detection accuracy and system performance.

Technically, the pipe features a 10mm external diameter and is typically supplied in 100-metre lengths. Its robust construction allows it to withstand a burst pressure of 995 PSI (68 bar), with each 100-metre coil weighing approximately 4.47kg, underscoring its reliability.
