The SenTRI 4-Way Input Output Module is an addressable interface designed to expand the connectivity of the SMS SenTRI fire alarm system. It provides four configurable inputs and outputs, enabling the integration of external devices such as control switches, relays, and auxiliary alarms. This allows for flexible monitoring and control within the fire detection network.
Each input and output can be individually programmed to respond to specific events, enhancing system customisation and functionality. The module also features built-in loop isolation, ensuring continuous operation even if a fault occurs on the loop. Its compact design facilitates installation in various locations, and it operates reliably within a temperature range of -10 to +60 degrees Celsius.
The module is compatible with Loop V4.35 and Main Control Card V4.37 and supports a load factor of 1-4 for switch inputs (maximum 200 per loop) and a load factor of 2 for relay outputs (maximum 200 per loop, only 8 individually sectored). It also supports a zone input of 26 (maximum 30 per loop) and LED output of +5 (maximum 100 LED outputs per loop).
The SenTRI module weighs 100g and has an ingress protection rating of IP31 for the plastic box version (SEN-490IP40) and an estimated IP40 for the metal box version (SEN-492). It complies with EN54-17 and EN54-18 standards and is LPCB approved. Datasheets are available for download.
