Description

The SenTRI Addressable Optical Heat Sensor with Sounder from Eurofyre is an intelligent fire detection device that combines optical smoke and heat sensing capabilities. This multi-criteria approach allows for rapid and precise detection of fire conditions, whilst reducing the likelihood of false alarms. The sensor is suitable for diverse environments and includes an integrated sounder for localised audio alerts, negating the necessity for individual sounder units, and is LPCB approved.

The device is individually addressable and features a patented sounder design with three alarm levels. It also incorporates a built-in isolator, improving system reliability and minimising the requirement for additional components. A monitored input/output line provides flexible configuration options as either a fire input or output, potentially removing the need for separate interfaces.

Designed for convenience, the sensor utilises a standard first-fix base which is consistent across the SenTRI range, streamlining installation procedures and costs. Technical specifications include an operating voltage of 35V to 41V, an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, and a sound output of approximately 90 dB(A) at 1 metre.

The sensor is compliant with EN54 Parts 3 & 5 standards and has an IP30 rating, or IP20 when mounted on a metal back box.
