The SenTRI Addressable Optical Smoke Sensor, designed by Eurofyre, is engineered for seamless integration with SMS Fire Alarm Control Panels to provide precise and intelligent smoke detection. The sensor allows for rapid response and accurate reporting, enhancing safety by pinpointing the fire’s exact location.
This device continuously monitors smoke levels within its chamber, ensuring reliable performance. Its adjustable sensitivity settings allow for customisation based on specific environments or time-based requirements, such as day/night operation. An optional repeat fire LED output is included as standard, offering enhanced visual indication if a monitored input is not in use.
Technically, the sensor operates between 35V and 41V and has an IP30 rating or IP20 when mounted on a metal back box. It is LPCB approved and functions in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, with a storage range of -20°C to +70°C. Constructed with an ABS enclosure in RAL 9010 colour, the sensor weighs between 110g and 170g including the base, with the SEN-720 model weighing less.
The dimensions of the device are 117 x 49.6mm.
