Description

The Morley-IAS Addressable Base Sounder is a high-quality, loop-powered device designed to provide an audible warning to building occupants during an emergency. It seamlessly integrates with System Sensor intelligent detectors and offers a choice of output levels and 32 user-selectable tones, which can be adjusted directly on the device or via the fire alarm control panel, making it adaptable for diverse applications. The unit carries LPCB and VdS Certifications, affirming its compliance with industry standards.

Installation has been made efficient with features such as large cable access, options for rear or surface cable entry, a loop continuity spring, and automatic sounder synchronisation, contributing to faster setup times.

Technically, the sounder operates across a supply voltage of 15 to 32VDC (non-isolation) or 15 to 28VDC (isolation), consuming a low standby current. It can achieve a maximum sound output of 95dB(A) at 1 metre, depending on the tone and volume setting.

The device is available in Pure White or Detector White (Ivory) and is designed for robust operation, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to 70°C and relative humidity up to 95% non-condensing. Its ingress protection rating varies from IP24 with a low-profile base to IP65 with a waterproof base.
