The Morley-IAS Addressable Sounder is a loop-powered device designed for emergency alerts in buildings. Powered by the fire panel via loop wiring, it offers simplified system integration and flexible twist-fit installation onto a B501AP base. Control is achieved via onboard switches or a fire panel using the Morley-IAS Advanced Protocol. Key features include 32 tone options, controllable sound output, group polling, anti-tamper mechanisms, large cable access, and versatile mounting options.
Technically, these sounders operate on 15 to 32VDC, providing a powerful maximum output of 97dB(A) at 1 metre. They function reliably from -25°C to 70°C and boast varying ingress protection ratings for low profile (IP24), surface mount (IP44), and waterproof (IP65) bases. Available in red or pure white, they are adaptable for diverse environmental and installation requirements.
