The VESDA-E Remote Module, soon available in the UK, enhances VESDA-E fire detection systems in large installations. It provides additional relay outputs, enabling remote activation of devices like fire alarm control panels, even from distant detector locations, thereby improving system flexibility and reliability. Firmware upgrades ensure compatibility with new features and detectors.

This module offers versatile connectivity through Ethernet and USB interfaces for flexible monitoring, allowing local PC connection or remote network access. VESDAnet, a network architecture for fire detection, enables interconnected VESDA-E devices to communicate with a central fire panel via remote display or relay modules. This network supports remote configuration, monitoring, and integration, ensuring accurate fire detection.

Technical specifications include a supply voltage of 18 to 30Vdc, with varying power consumption and peak current depending on the model (VER-A40-7 or VER-A40-12). It operates in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 39°C and humidity between 5-95% RH (non-condensing). The module features programmable relays rated at 2A @ 30Vdc and supports USB-B and Ethernet interfaces.
