Description

The 25mm Condensation Drain, available from Eurofyre, is designed to efficiently remove condensation from pipework in aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems. It is most effective when strategically positioned at the lowest point of the system’s pipework to optimise drainage and maintain system integrity.

This component boasts several key features aimed at enhancing system performance and durability. It is described as tough, durable, and lightweight, possessing properties that ensure chemical resistance. These attributes contribute to its reliability across various environmental conditions.

Technically, the condensation drain is manufactured from ABS material and comes in a standard red colour, with a white option also available. It operates effectively across a wide temperature range, from -40°C to 70°C, and weighs a mere 0.05kg. Crucially, it is compatible with a broad spectrum of leading ASD systems, including VESDA, VESDA-E, ICAM, FAAST, Airsense, and Securiton, ensuring versatile integration into existing setups.
