Description

The Eurofyre Wi-Fyre Wireless Optical Detector is a key component for wireless fire detection systems, featuring an optical smoke detector head integrated with a Wi-Fyre wireless base. It operates on an 868-870 MHz frequency and detects smoke by utilising a pulsing IR LED and photo diode to sense IR scatter within its chamber.

This EN54-25 approved device boasts a modern design, 360-degree LED indication, and is powered by four lithium AA cell batteries, providing an operational life of up to three years. It offers 100m² detection coverage and a wireless range of 150m in open areas, complemented by tamper detection for both the detector and its base.

The detector holds TUV approval for safe installation across European Union countries and carries the CE mark, signifying compliance with directives including the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), EMC, and Low Voltage Directive (LVD), specifically EN54-25:2008. Technical specifications detail an alarm condition of 2.4% obs/m, a durable polycarbonate housing, and a weight of 330g (including batteries).
