Description

The Wi-Fyre Wireless Optical Heat Detector from Eurofyre integrates a ProFyre optical-heat detector head with a Wi-Fyre wireless base. Engineered to respond to both smoke and/or heat, whichever is triggered first, it is designed and tested in accordance with EN54 parts 5 & 7.

The device carries extensive approvals, including EN54-25:2008 for fire detection and alarm systems utilising radio links. It is also TUV approved for safe use across the European Union and bears the CE mark, indicating compliance with directives such as CPR, EMC, and the Low Voltage Directive.

Key technical specifications include an 868 – 870 MHz operating frequency, 100m² detection coverage, and a wireless range of 150m in open areas. Power is supplied by four lithium AA cells, providing a battery life of up to three years. The detector features a modern design, 360-degree LED indication, and tamper detection for either the detector or base removal. Constructed from white polycarbonate, the unit measures 103 x 71mm and weighs 330g including batteries.
