Description

The Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Heat Detector, offered by Eurofyre, is engineered to provide an effective fire warning system in locations where traditional smoke detection methods are unsuitable. This advanced device can be flexibly configured to detect fire either by a rapid rate-of-rise (A1R) in temperature or by reaching a fixed high-temperature (BS) threshold, integrating into the latest generation of hybrid wireless fire detection technology.

The detector features robust wireless capabilities, offering a point-to-point transmission range of over 1km in open-air conditions. This can be significantly extended across a system to more than 8km through the use of up to eight expansion hops, supported by 22 pairs of field channels and dual channel redundancy. Reliability is further enhanced by adaptive radio signal processing algorithms and a convenient built-in magnet test function for operational verification.

A key benefit of the Wi-Fyre Xenos is its impressive 10-year battery life, powered by standard, cost-effective lithium batteries. The product also includes a 5-year warranty, reflecting its quality and expected longevity. Physically, the detector is compact, measuring 110 x 70mm, weighs 153g without batteries, and holds an IP40 rating.

Technically, it operates within the 868 – 870 MHz frequency range and is suitable for environments with operating temperatures from -10°C to +55°C. It offers detection for Class A1R (58°C max) or Class BS high-temperature (78°C) events.
