Description

The Wi-Fyre Xenos Wireless Wall Sounder VAD is an EN54-3 (Type B) and EN 54-23 compliant visual/alarm device. It features 32 selectable tones, three volume levels, and a high-output LED beacon, all adjustable locally or via control equipment. This robust unit includes bi-directional wireless communication and is certified waterproof to IPX5.

Integrated into a compatible wireless system, the sounder VAD is fully panel-controlled. This enables intelligent control, testing, monitoring, and sounder synchronisation, supported by adaptive radio signal processing algorithms for reliability and life safety.

Its wireless range exceeds 1km point-to-point in open air. With up to eight expansion hops, a Wi-Fyre Xenos system can cover over 8km, operating at 868 – 870 MHz. Devices are powered by standard lithium batteries, offering up to five years of life. The maximum acoustic output is 100 dB(A), functioning effectively from -10°C to +55°C.
