The Xtratone Conventional Sounder is an addressable loop-powered wall sounder for fire alarm systems, controlled by the fire alarm panel. It features a high sound output of up to 102dB(A) and low current consumption. Users can select from 22 tones, including default BS Fire patterns and those compliant with German, French, and Dutch fire standards, as well as PFEER toxic gas and alert signals.
Housed in UL V0 Flame Retardant ABS, the sounder supports both semi-flush and surface mounting, supplied with a back box for convenience. It has an ingress protection rating of IP21C, making it suitable for internal use only. A combined Sounder/LED Indicator version is also available.
Designed to complement ProFyre C8 and C24 conventional control panels, the Xtratone Sounder is fully LPCB approved and CE marked. It complies with EN54-3:2001 + A1:2002 + A2:2006 for sounders, along with applicable CPR, EMC, and Low Voltage Directives. Operating between 17 to 28Vdc with a quiescent current of 0.65mA, the device is offered in red or white.
