The Crisis EVC Assist Call Repeater provides remote alerts and acknowledgement for assist calls within a Crisis Emergency Voice Communication System (EVCS). Compliant with BS5839-9:2011, this EVCS acts as a vital fire telephone or disabled refuge, assisting firefighters where radio communication may be compromised.

This UK-manufactured repeater features a compact design, brushed stainless steel finish, and a 2.8-inch colour touch-screen. It connects to the nearest Expander panel via Cat 5 cable, allowing installation up to 30m away without a separate power supply, ideal for discreet mounting.

When an assist call activates, it signals with a flashing blue ‘halo’ and an audible buzzer. Acknowledging via the touch-screen provides a continuous ‘halo’ and periodic beeps, reassuring the caller. Three active alarms are shown, with scrolling for more and total quantity visible.

Installation requires an ‘MK’ style double gang back-box (at least 25mm deep, 35mm for cable glands). It must be placed in a permanently staffed area, adhering to Building Regulations Document M and BS8300-2:2018, to ensure prompt assistance.
