The FyreLine Resettable Linear Heat Detection (LHD) system, offered by Eurofyre, provides reliable overheat protection across various sectors, including power generation and oil and gas. The system comprises a heat-sensitive cable, a controller, and an end-of-line unit. The FyreLine Resettable LHD controller is certified to EN54-22 and UL 521 standards, ensuring its reliability as a fire detection device.
The controller continuously monitors the heat-sensitive cable, providing early warnings and alarms when overheating occurs. It supports Modbus communication and remote reset options for seamless integration and efficient management. Its resettable design contributes to cost-effectiveness and minimises downtime in fire safety systems.
Wiring is flexible, allowing connection to standard fire alarm panels or addressable monitor modules. Power can be supplied via a 24V DC output or a battery-backed EN54-4 or UL-listed power supply. The Modbus RS-485 RTU/ASCII output allows for additional data retrieval, such as fault and alarm status and ambient temperature, enabling its use as a distributed temperature sensing solution.
The controller features remote reset capabilities, requiring a 5-28V DC input for at least 3 seconds to initiate a reset. It also distinguishes between pre-alarm and alarm states based on temperature changes around the LHD cable. Certifications, including EN54-22 by VdS and UL 521 listing, ensure compliance with international fire safety standards.
