Eurofyre offers the InfraSensing H2 & VOC Off-Gas Sensor, a device designed for environmental monitoring to protect valuable assets from environmental risks. This calibration-free, plug-and-play sensor continuously monitors hydrogen (H₂) levels and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The sensor is suited for environments such as data centres and battery rooms where detecting electrolyte vapours and temperature fluctuations is important. The compact sensor features a steel enclosure and multiple mounting options (rack, DIN rail, magnetic, or wall).
The device connects to the SensorGateway via a CAT6 RJ45 cable and is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or DC. Upon detecting dangerous levels, the system can autonomously initiate corrective actions such as activating a fan or sounding an alarm.
The sensor has a lifespan of up to 10 years and a response time of less than 30 seconds. It features factory calibrated VOC, H2, temperature and humidity measurements. It uses a spectrometer for detection.
Technical specifications include a VOC measurement output range of 0-500 VOC Index, H2 detection range of 0-100% LEL, and a temperature measurement range of -40°C to 125°C.
