Description

The Oggioni DUST-DY gas detectors, available from Eurofyre, are designed for monitoring toxic and explosive gases, as well as oxygen levels. These detectors utilise microprocessor-based technology, enabling swift and reliable detection which can be integrated into existing safety systems. Remote management and diagnostics are supported by an RS-485 MODBUS RTU interface.

These detectors are housed in robust, IP65-rated aluminium enclosures, ensuring resilience in harsh environments. A built-in LCD display provides real-time gas level readings for immediate awareness. The units are certified for use in ATEX Zone 2 areas and meet SIL 2 standards, making them suitable for safety-critical and heavily regulated environments.

The detectors are pre-calibrated, reducing setup time. The eNose®4.0 technology contributes to their reliability and ease of use, ensuring accurate detection while minimising false alarms. The sensor technology employed is designed to be unaffected by humidity, further enhancing reliability.

Technical specifications include a 24 Vdc power supply, various sensor types (catalytic, electrochemical, NDIR, or PID), and compliance with EMC standards. The units operate within a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C and are constructed from aluminium or stainless steel.

Eurofyre offers various configurations of the Oggioni DUST-DY detectors, including models for methane detection, oxygen deficiency monitoring, and carbon monoxide detection, with options for 4-20mA or RS485 communication protocols.
