The Morley-IAS Addressable Multi-Sensor Detector presents a reliable and high-quality fire detection platform, designed for medium to large-scale applications. It employs digital communication and integrates both thermal and photoelectric sensing technologies to enhance false alarm immunity and provide a quicker response to various fire scenarios.

The detector utilises two separate sensing elements, managed by embedded software, which function cohesively as a single unit. It can be programmed to operate in a “heat only” mode in areas where regular daytime activities might otherwise cause unwanted alarms. Significantly, the detector automatically reverts to full photo-thermal operation during unoccupied periods to maintain comprehensive safety.

Housed in a modern, white enclosure, the detector features a tri-colour LED (red, green, and amber) offering 360° visibility for clear status indication. Key features include 100% mechanical and electrical backwards compatibility, facilitating seamless integration with existing systems, and rotary decade address switches for straightforward setup.
