The Testifire Smoke Capsule (TS3) is specifically engineered for integration with Testifire Detector Testers, providing an efficient solution for evaluating smoke and multi-criteria detectors, including Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) systems. Fully compatible with Testifire 1001 and 2001 testing heads, this capsule is distinguished by its non-pressurised and non-hazardous composition. It generates smoke on demand, significantly enhancing productivity and reducing the time required for detector testing.

The capsule’s design prioritises safety and ease of use. Its liquid is clear, non-flammable, and non-explosive, with a boiling point of 100°C and an auto-ignition point of 270°C, possessing a characteristic odour. The straightforward procedure for removal and replacement involves opening the detector tester’s upper access cover, gently squeezing and removing the used capsule, and then carefully inserting a new one.

For replacement, the new capsule is taken from its packaging, and its spring clip protector cap is detached. It is then placed into the capsule port, label downwards, ensuring the spring clips engage correctly on both sides before the access cover is secured. This user-friendly process ensures minimal downtime during maintenance.
