The FireProtect (Smoke/Sounder) Jeweller utilises a dust resistant, dual spectrum sensor and the HazeFlow 2 algorithm to instantly distinguish smoke from steam. This model includes a powerful integrated sounder that delivers up to 85 dB at 1 meter, ensuring clear audible notification throughout the premises.
Housed in a sleek, maintenance-free enclosure, it provides high speed triggering and advanced false alarm prevention in full compliance with EN54 standards.
The detector uses encrypted Jeweller technology to communicate with an Ajax hub at a range of up to 1700 meters. This ultra fast connection guarantees near instant alarm notifications and allows users to manage settings or silence the integrated sounder remotely through the Ajax app.
Advanced Enclosure Design
The detector features a robust enclosure with a rotatable SmartBracket, allowing for precise 90° alignment during installation. A tool-free battery compartment and secure tamper protection ensure long-term reliability and straightforward servicing, while an optional mechanical lock prevents unauthorised removal in public or commercial spaces.
Sophisticated Detection Technology
Utilising a patented smoke chamber and a dual-spectrum optical sensor, the detector monitors airborne particle size and concentration in real time. By combining blue and infrared LEDs, the system can instantly differentiate between genuine smoke and common household interferences, such as steam or water vapour, ensuring a rapid response while effectively eliminating false alarms.
The HazeFlow 2 algorithm processes all optical sensor data, comparing particle patterns against a digital library of combustion profiles. By only triggering when a genuine fire signature is detected, this intelligent filtering ensures a rapid response in demanding environments while ignoring dust and cooking fumes.
Audible Alarms
The FireProtect (Smoke/Sounder) Jeweller features a built-in siren designed for immediate site-wide notification. This EN54-3 compliant sounder delivers a volume of up to 85dB at 1 metre and offers 32 selectable tone patterns, allowing the alert to be tailored to specific local regulations or environment types. In the event of an emergency, the device can trigger an interconnected fire alarm, synchronising all detectors equipped with a sounder across the premises within moments to ensure the warning is heard in every room.
Simplified Maintenance
The Ajax PRO Desktop app generates detailed maintenance reports, tracking smoke chamber contamination, battery levels, and signal strength. These automated logs provide digital proof of compliance and pinpoint exactly when a sensor needs cleaning or servicing, ensuring the system stays operational without unnecessary manual checks.
