Overview
The Ajax EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller is a wireless addressable module designed to bridge the gap between EN 54-certified fire safety systems and third-party hardware.
It features two galvanically isolated outputs capable of controlling electrical devices like door locks, lifts, and voice alarms, alongside two versatile inputs that support various connection types (NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL, and 3EOL) to integrate external detectors or control panels.

Operating on the secure Jeweller radio protocol, the module offers up to 1,700 metres of communication range and five years of battery life, all whilst providing easy remote configuration and monitoring through the Ajax apps.
Advanced Enclosure Design

Designed for long-term reliability and professional-grade security, the EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller features a robust hardware layout that simplifies the installation process.
The internal circuitry is protected by a dedicated housing to prevent accidental damage during mounting, while labelled terminal blocks and integrated recesses allow for tidy, flexible cable routing from any direction.

To ensure the integrity of your fire safety setup, the device is equipped with two sensitive tamper buttons that trigger an instant alert if the casing is opened or if the module is forcibly detached from the wall.
Automated Response
The EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller empowers your fire safety system to act instantly when seconds matter most, turning a standard alarm into a coordinated emergency response.
Equipped with two galvanically isolated outputs, the module seamlessly integrates essential life safety equipment such as emergency lighting, automatic door locks, and lift control systems.

Supporting both AC (up to 250 V~, 10 A) and DC (up to 30 V⎓, 5 A), it provides the high load capacity needed to drive heavy-duty hardware. By leveraging Ajax automation scenarios, the system can automatically trigger these devices the moment a fire is detected, ensuring a safer and more efficient evacuation for any building.
Smart Integration
The I/O Moduleseamlessly integrates third-party life safety equipment into the Ajax ecosystem, making external detectors and controllers fully addressable.
Its two versatile inputs support NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL, and 3EOL connections, allowing a single wired device to send up to three distinct signals.
Through the Ajax app, installers can quickly configure specific event types; such as fire, gas leak, or fault; ensuring every alert provides clear, actionable information for a faster emergency response.
