Description

The Securiton ASD 533 is a highly sensitive aspirating smoke detection system offering reliable early fire warning, particularly in challenging environments. Tailored for smaller applications or areas requiring ultra-rapid detection, such as data centres, clean rooms, laboratories, and prison cells, it builds upon the successful ASD 535 model. Its powerful fan generates over 400 pascals of aspirating under pressure, making it suitable for harsh conditions like deep-freeze areas, explosion-hazard zones, or locations with high contamination.

Housed in a modern IP54 enclosure, the ASD 533 is designed for robust performance, immune to disturbances from dust, dirt, moisture, and steam, thereby protecting against false alarms. Its “Config over Line” function enables configuration and servicing directly from the fire alarm control panel, facilitating straightforward integration into existing architectures.

The detector can cover areas up to 1920m² and supports EN54-20 sensitivity classes A, B, or C, with varying numbers of sampling apertures. It accommodates two pipe networks, each up to 200 metres long, and offers flexible orientation for pipe inlets.

Status indications are provided via a standard LED display, showing Alarm, Fault, and dusty/dirty conditions, along with reset and power buttons. The system holds global approvals including VdS, FM, UL, UKCA, and CE, confirming its compliance with stringent safety and quality standards, especially in fire safety.

Operating across a permissible temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C, the detector features adjustable alarm levels, including multiple pre-signals. It offers precise alarm sensitivities from 0.02 to 10%/m and pre-signal sensitivities from 0.002%/m to 9%/m for timely detection.
